SECURITY CIRCLE

- You can only make 1 security circle, and it should not have more as 5 pioneers.
 
- You can add all people who are in your earning team (your miners), and the person who invited you.

 
- You can add everybody you trust, to your security circle, who is allready active as a pioneer.

- Goto home page, top left, ≡,  settings. 

Choose"Earn pi", "Edit security circle" 












- You can add your miners and your inviter, by pushing "ADD EXISTING USERS"
Browse the list, choose their name, push add, and ready.

- You can add other existing pioneers, if you trust them.
Push "ADD FROM CONTACTS"

Make a new contact in your telephone, and add the pioneers telephone number

coutrycode with +, not with 00

example: +31 , not 0031

The number cannot have spaces

0031 123 456 789 is not ok

Open Pi app, click the Shield icon on main page, and choose "add from contacts". Browse to the correct number, click add, ready.

If yo wanna add more numbers, close Pi app again. After adding a new number in contacts, open Pi app again, and add it. This allows the list in Pi app to refresh.

+ If you have 5 members in your security circle, the it shows "STRONG" and u are ready.

Later on, those 5 pioneers will be able to help you retrieve your key, if you lost access to your account.

While cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin secure their ledgers by forcing miners to burn energy (proof of work), Pi secures its ledger when its members vouch for each other as trustworthy. Pi’s Contributors vouch for each other by building security circles comprised of 3-5 members they deem as trustworthy. Security circles should be comprised of people you trust not to execute fraudulent transactions. The network’s security circles form a global trust graph that determines who can be trusted to execute transactions on Pi’s ledger.
