NODE INSTALLATIE (met dank aan Lord5555)

Node software setup for Windows 10.
 

1. Download Pi Node from the official website (node.minepi.com) on your computer,

2. and push Login.

3. Open Pi telephone App ,  settings ≡ , and push Node

4. the code you see on your computer, has to be typed in your smartphone.

5. On your computer,  push the node button (under ‘mine’-button)

6. Push continue.

7. Push Install Docker download Docker Desktop.

8. Download the latest version, install, and restart computer.

9. After restart, you see: WSL 2 installation is incomplete.

10. Push this link (WSL2 install), open it, and install.

11. After install, push Restart, the program starts again, NOT the computer.

12. when docker has started, you may skip the tutorial and  close docker.

13. Open Pi app, go back to Node, push continue, and Install Docker like step 7.

14. A green text: docker is installed correctly!
Docker daemon is running!

15. again, push Install Docker , and open your router or modem ports.


16. Ga to the interface of your modem, use your IPv4,  and open ports 31400 - 31409
TCP Protocol.
Best make 1 line for every port.


17. Save everything, and go back to Pi node on computer.


18. Push "Check now" and if everything is ok, you should see your ports in green.

It is possible you will have to push several times, before "PORT CHECK" shows that all ports are open.



19. If you would have a Windows Defender Firewall message, then push "Allow acces" 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

20. Push Continue, and if all went well, you can push continue, and see the shift button to turn on the node: "Turn the Node on for testing".
